A US man who pretended to be a
plastic surgeon carried out operations in the US which left at least
three people with permanent damage.
Miami Beach police are hunting Cuban immigrant Reinaldo Silvestre, 59, and have charged him with physical abuse, as well as practising medicine without the required licences.
One of his victims embarked on her own investigation after suffering a series of botched operations after a failed breast implant procedure.
Mileidi Pimienta, checked his documentation and then reported him to the police.
Also deformed was Mexican bodybuilder and actor Alexander Baez, 47, who wanted chest implants to accentuate his muscles.

Instead, he received a large, hollow cavity on one side of his chest and a large, single implant shaped like a woman's breast on the other, according to the police.
Police have already arrested the bogus doctor's "anaesthetist".
Silvestre's fiancee, Sophie Bozza, who worked as an assistant at the clinic, has also been arrested.
In the UK, doctors have to be registered with the General Medical Council or they are committing a criminal offence.
