I Want A Famous Face

Similar to other reality TV shows that give its contestants the changes in their appearance that they've always wanted, MTV's I Want a Famous Face has become a huge hit among its viewers. Geared towards a younger crowd than Extreme Makeover, I Want a Famous Face gives its contestants the plastic surgery procedures that they feel is necessary for a future career.

Many of the contestants on I Want a Famous Face feel that the only thing stopping them from becoming a major superstar is their physical appearance. It's a cruel world when the devotion and ambition that a person can have to reach a specific goal can be inhibited by something that they couldn't control, but with I Want a Famous Face, there's no more excuses for these contestants.

Displaying how remarkable changes made by plastic surgery can have on a person, I Want a Famous Face is essentially a show about making a person's dreams come true. Already on one episode, two twenty-year old males from Arizona, named Mike and Matt, were able to take one major step to making their dream of becoming a movie star come true.

Feeling that their faces were holding back their inevitable stardom, Mike and Matt went to MTV for help. With I Want a Famous Face, Mike and Matt were able to obtain the rhinoplasty, chin implants, and porcelain veneers that they needed to look like their idol, Brad Pitt. Following the surgery, Mike and Matt were ebullient about these changes.

By showing how much of a positive impact plastic surgery can have on a person's life, I Want a Famous Face shows how much of a change plastic surgery can have on a person. Besides affecting a patient's appearance in a drastic way, plastic surgery also makes a person more confident and comfortable with themselves.
